I was born in Ithaca, New York , grew up in Ibadan, Nigeria and have lived in Oak Park, Illinois for 23 years.

 As a clinician-researcher in Infectious diseases, I have published in the medical literature  but always dreamt of writing at least one book.

For the last 12 years, I have been a divorced mom of 2 amazing daughters who inspire and challenge me daily to be the best me. Our journey together inspired this book, my first. The decade after; thriving after divorce, is a labor of love and I am delighted to have you read it!
